How Acne Market Works… and what category does this site resides into

This article is nothing but to justify why I do what I do.

I believed that I should not let the viewer like you to draw your own conclusion and I should be let you see what I see.

Anyway, as the title implies, this is about the current acne market and of course, depending on the time you are reading this, acne market might have change.

Ok, here goes.

There are tons of products out there but…

There are only 3 kinds of products overall, which are:

1. Skin care products
2. Drugs
3. Information products

I think you are familiar with skin care products and drugs related with acne already.

Just make no mistake that skin care products and drugs like Accutane are totally two different categories (I know some of the readers here still categorize skin care products and drugs to be the same thing)

If you are reading this article, I bet you already realize that these two products are obviously not the solution to your acne condition. (Most people usually go for these 2 as a solution before they go for the information products)

They do treat acne to a certain extent, but they are not purposed to improve your acne condition over time.

All that’s left to talk about is information products, which 95% of them are focusing on the so-called natural means to treat acne.

There is a scenario behind this situation and please do allow me to briefly explain this market.

Imagine that you are the information product owner, namely the acne e-book author or the so-called acne specialist.

You open a website and you try to give as many “good information” as possible to prove your authority to the public.

To do this, you might do things like:

1. posting video in youtube with you commenting on certain situation,
2. create social media like facebook or twitter for your business or
3. offer great tools and just let your affiliate do the job of promoting you.

Then, you put up sales page for your products and sell it.

So far, if your product is good (which means to make you to take action and improve your acne condition over time), nothing is wrong about selling.

However, this is the problem.

You thought that you do good for the acne sufferers since you provide them with “good information” in your articles, videos or audios regarding the famous topics related with acne.

Yet, you can’t give everything out.

You purposely hold back on the key pieces of the information – action steps to improve your acne condition.

Of course, you can’t be blamed for this as you still need to do business and to keep up with the world of Internet, you need to keep writing about acne.

This lead to you keeps repeating the same topic over and over again by recycle and repurposing the information.

However, this contradiction causes more problems than it bring benefit to your customers.

Your customers are confused as they read more.

This is just one of the problems.

Let’s not forget that, right now, we live in a quick fix era (That’s why skin care products and drugs are so tempting).

So, you had no choice but to make bold claims about your products, or else you won’t get the attention.

Then, to get the interest of the acne sufferers, you had no choice but to target what your customers want, not what they need.

To get to their desire and sync with you, you had no choice but to be dramatic and start to make your customers to focus on the things that they can’t control unconsciously.

Lastly, to make them to take actions to buy your products, you had to come up with 60 days money back guarantee, which forces you to come up with a solution that can get rid of your customers’ acne in less than 60 days.

• What kind of information will show up in your website?

Bias and confusing one.

Information based on public trends, not for the public’s interest.

Information that is repetitive and frustrating.

I am not saying all these are bad and I am Internet Marketer and Fine Art artist myself.

I personally do practice some of the above to ensure my place in the acne market.

What I am saying is just this.

The acne market in the Internet is dominated by opportunity buyers and although I am trying to be as honest as possible, I do practice the deeds that non-salesperson, like you, might not like (For example, making a sales page for my product).

Since there is nothing that can be done by the seller perspective, I might as well educate you to be a wise acne sufferer that tries your best to improve your acne condition.

All in all, in this article, there are two lessons in this information product for acne market:

1. Don’t read or learn too much on topic for acne. Do what you can and what you must first. Knowing more will do you harm in this market. Keep things as simple as possible.
2. Your learning on acne freedom lifestyle will not stop after 1 e-book. Learn as you progress. Take this as an investment for yourself. Believed me, this effort will have great impact onto every aspects of your life, not just acne.

So, I hope that this clears your doubts as to why I do not write a lot of articles or even did not open a forum.

I rather spend the energy to serve you better by creating better products to make sure I can improve your acne condition than to spend my energy to convince you that I am YOUR ACNE GUY.
